Introduction


Marathi is introduced as an optional subject to the Commerce faculty.
Marathi is introduced as an optional subject to the Commerce faculty from the beginning of the college in 1984; simultaneously it is introduced as general subject to Arts faculty and an optional subject to Science faculty. There are two faculties appointed to teach Marathi, full time and class hour basis faculty.

Student Achievers


Students of the department are awarded at collegiate level for oratory and poetry recitation competitions. Students have actively participated in Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sanmelan at Pimpari Chinchwad.

- Department of marathi organised "Marathi Rajbhasha Din" in college. - Students were introduced to proof reading course in collge.
