DEPARTMENT OF M.Sc.(COMPUTER SCIENCE) : Introduction

Established in 2007

    The Department of Computer Science (PG) has established in year 2007 by starting M.Sc.(Computer Science) course with intake of 30. By keeping the view in mind to provide higher education to the students in the today’s most promising field. As our college is located in the heart of the city. Students get benefited from it. As demand increased additional division of 30 was added in year 2017.

     Today the department has intake of 60 students. As this is practical course; the department has well equipped and advanced computer laboratories to provide practical exposure to the students. College also has well equipped Auditorium Hall for conducting different activities.

    The department carries out different  activities for overall development of students like Workshops, Guest Lectures, Seminars, Project development, Days celebrations, Desai Karandak – intercollegiate competitions, Corporate week- where eminent personalities from industries come and share their ideas and interact with students. The Department also provide autonomous course like ANDROID – Mobile Application Development to the students of final year apart from syllabus without charging any fees.

    ⮚ Eligibility:- For M.Sc. (Computer Science) :
    B.Sc. (Computer Science) / B.C.S. / Bachelor of Engineering in (computer Science / Information Technology/ Electronic Telecommunication) with 50% Marks (for Open Category) and 45% Marks (for Reserve Category). (Subject to change from university time to time).
